BLACK FRIDAY WITH BOOHOO.

You can honestly never have too many LBD's in your wardrobe, they are the most reliable pieces in any girls wardrobe, you can never go wrong with an LBD. I adore this one I got from Boohoo as the quality is so amazing, it holds you in all the right places and is very flattering, I know I'll be getting loooooaads of wear out of this number. Another thing I love about this dress is the fact that it doesn't go 'wobbly' below the knees like the majority of midi dresses I have ever tried, it honestly is such a classy addition to add to your wardrobe!

Anyways enough ranting about my love for this dress as the whole point of this post is to let you all know that Boohoo's massive Black Friday Sale has now begun and they're offering up to 50% off with even more lines being added Saturday so just apologise to your bank account now and head on over to boohoo.com

PLATINUM HAIR EXTENSIONS.

So just over a week ago I got a full head of Platinum Hair Extensions applied. Now some of you that know me or have followed my blog for a while may be wondering why would I bother with extensions as I have always had very long, thick hair naturally. The reason I choose to go ahead with getting extensions applied is that my natural hair had gotten very dry and dead looking just due to the balyage I currently have and the hi lights I had in my hair before this so I thought extensions would be the perfect option to give my hair some life again.

A couple of days before I got my extensions applied I actually got my hair cut up a little bit and the dead ends removed and also had it thinned out as a trip to the hairdressers was long overdue.

I got my extensions applied in Platinums newest location which is Galway, for any of you wondering where they are located, it is downstairs in the Eyre Square shopping centre (across from JD).

I honestly was a bit unsure how natural the extensions would look once applied as I thought having balyage may make it more difficult to disguise them. However, the girls in Platinum did an unreal job and blended 3 different shades through my hair to make it look completely natural, I honestly can't tell which is my own hair and which is the extensions. The process took about 3 hours in total and was completely pain free for any of you wondering.

Another thing I was a bit weary of prior to getting the extensions applied was would I have to always have my hair styled etc. because I am literally so lazy when it comes to styling my hair like I just cannot be arsed most of the time. So to see how the extensions would cope with minimum effort after my first time washing them I let them dry naturally and they turned out great, they dried with a slight boho wave so the fact that I don't always have to style them really appeals to me.

However, when I do style my hair, it holds the style so well. My own hair used to be so difficult to style as I would spend ages waving/curling it to have it just fall out within an hour or less due to the weight of my hair but now the extensions hold styles for much much longer so my efforts don't go to waste.

The above shampoo and hair brush were recommended by the girls in Platinum. You cannot use Shampoo or Conditioner with any Sulfate, Silicon or Alcohol so I thought it was a wise idea to get this shampoo. The brush is especially made for extensions and has looped bristles so I doesn't pull at the bonds. I'd highly recommend you get this brush if you choose to get extensions as it honestly glides through my hair rather than tugging at it.

Platinume use luxury Italian hair which comes in 27 shades and 22 inch lengths. Their bonds are enriched with 80% ketain to keep the extensions from damaging your natural hair so there's no need to worry about any hair horrors when the time comes to have your extensions removed!

You can find out all you need to know about aftercare, booking an appointment etc. over on www.platinumumluxuryhairextensions.com.

Overall I am definitely so glad I chose to get Platinum extensions, they honestly have given my hair a new lease of life! I'll let you all know how they keep up over the next 3 months on my social media channels so keep an eye out there if your'e interested :)

FRIGHT FEST.

On Saturday the 8th October I was invited along to the opening night of Fright Fest.
Fright Fest is the West of Ireland's first and only scream park. To be honest I was kind of dreading the whole experience as I am not the type of person that enjoys being scared or watching horror movies etc. But I decided to accept the invitation as I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and experience something new.

Fright Fest is made up of three different haunted scare attractions, Frightmare Manor, Terrortorium and Walk of Fear. I went to this event with two of my housemates and we started off in Terrortorium as this was advised to be the most terrifying so we wanted to get it out of the way. This had a circus theme and with the killer clown trend that is circulating at the moment it definitely made us jump and scream through out, but at the same time it was actually enjoyable which surprised me, we couldn't help but laugh in between the screaming, could have been complete nervous laughter but we definitely had fun somehow.

The second attraction we entered was The Walk of Fear. This is the one attraction that is partly outdoors. We definitely did walk in fear, this was an animal themed stage of Fright Fest and I'll just advise you to watch your feet for this one!

The third and final attraction we ventured into was Frightmare Manor and I have to say this was a personal favourite of mine and my two housemates agreed. This is a very interactive part of the experience as you make your way through a haunted hotel. I have to say the characters throughout the hotel were brilliant and played their roles so brilliantly, even though it was commented that I'd make an excellent corpse more than once I definitely enjoyed the experience while also waiting in anticipation for the next terrifying event to happen.

I am so surprised that I came out of Fright Fest feeling glad that I went. I may have welded myself in between my housemates for the whole experience in the hope that I'd be protected but I actually enjoyed it and we had a laugh while being absolutely terrified. I'd highly recommend this experience if you and you're friends are looking for something different to do this Halloween!

The dates for Fright Fest are 14,15,16,20,21,22,23,27,28,29,30,31 October and November 1st.

Check out all the information and book tickets here on their website - www.frightfest.ie and also give Fright Fest a like on Facebook here - FrightFest

Thank you so much to all the staff, monsters, zombies, clowns etc. at Fright Fest for having us, ye have all done such an excellent job!

ATHLONE FASHION TRAIL.

Last Saturday some of you that follow me on Snapchat may have seen that I was at the Athlone Fashion Trail with my Into the West Blogger Network fam. This was a day of discovering what Athlone has to offer fashion wise. I already knew Athlone was a great destination for shopping as I would make regular trips there to shop but unfortunately since I moved to Galway, these trips have become less often so I was so excited to be back for a browse around the shops & boutiques of Athlone.

We started the day off in the fabolous Colm Quinn showroom where we were treated to breakfast and bubbly, I always love visiting the Colm Quinn showrooms.. #goals

Our first stop of the day was Kadee Bridal and OH MY GOD is what I have to say for this boutique. I fell in love with dress after dress. If you're planning a wedding and you want something different and high fashion inspired, you NEED to visit Kadee Bridal, trust me.

Olivia Danielle is a firm favourite of a couple of my blogger friends from ITWBN so I knew we were in for a treat with this stop and I certainly wasn't disappointed. This boutique offers something for every age group and every style and every piece of clothing is definitely runway approved in my opinion.

Athlone Town Centre will always be a top pick for me and if you have followed me for a while you may have noticed. It's definitely worth the trip here as H&M and Zara along with many other amazing high street stores are located here all under one roof. <3 p="">

Lunch was served in the most beautifully decorated area in Athlone Town Centre and was supplied by The Fatted Calf, I have one word for this lunch, PERFECTION. If you are ever in Athlone I would highly recommend The Fatted Calf for food, it's so delish!

We visited Boutique Clodagh which was actually a boutique I have never been to before. They have some beautiful coats for this coming winter so if you looking to update your winter wardrobe, Boutique Clodagh is worth a trip.

Nell's Closet has me dying to be invited to a special occasion so I have an excuse to return there. I would definitely really struggle picking just one outfit from here though as there was plenty of wow clothing on display. Nell's Closet certainly caters for all age groups and occasions so no matter what age you are or what occasion you have coming up I can guarantee you will find something amazing here.

The Athlone Fashion Trail definitely wouldn't be complete without a trip to Burgess. Burgess Department store was founded in 1839 and is famous for being the longest established department store in Ireland.

We ended the day in the best way possible with cocktails in the Radisson Blu overlooking the River Shannon on a beautiful sunny evening.

 A massive thank you to:

- Burgess of Athlone
- Olivia Danielle
